Dr O’Mahony and her Practice Nurses Chris and Elva are committed to caring for all of our patients in a warm, caring and professional manner.

When you contact us for an appointment with Dr O’Mahony, Chris or Elva will endeavour to find you a time and date that fits best around your schedule.

At your appointment you will be greeted by Lisa our receptionist. All appointments are with Dr O’Mahony herself.

Dr O’Mahony firmly believes that her patients should feel completely informed and comfortable about all aspects of the procedure they are seeking, and will spend as much consultation time with you as you need to achieve this. For larger or more complex procedures she will advise that we meet at least twice.

Detailed information about the cost of procedures, and Medicare or Health Fund rebates is after your consultation. Chris, Elva or Dr O’Mahony are available to answer questions that you may have regarding procedural costs, so please don’t hesitate to ask, interpreting health funds and hospital fees can
be tricky! We will help wherever we can.

Appointments following your surgery with Dr O’Mahony and her nurses (her nurses look after suture removal and wound care) can be made at the time of your procedure booking or following your operation. The frequency of your follow up appointments depends on the type of procedure, and we are always available to answer any other queries you may have.
